Behavioral Science Task Force
The Behavioral Science Task Force closely partners with funded studies to provide support and guidance on behavioral science aspects, review study protocols to ensure effective integration of behavioral science and consumer marketing principles and develop a framework to enhance engagement and adherence in FIM interventions. They also participate in developing a webinar series on behavioral science engagement strategies and marketing approaches, compiling the content into a handbook for FIM researchers, and create checklists for each touchpoint, including a customized protocol review form for the task force.

Introducing the Be-Sci TIP: Quick-Turn Testing for Stronger Interventions
Intervention design often, and rightly, focuses on program nuts-and-bolts - the problem to be solved, the information to be delivered, and the outcomes to be captured. But many apparently minor decisions about a project, including its branding, the manner in which instructions or prompts are delivered, our incentive format, structure or size, or minor changes in measure wording can have profound effects on study success. The Behavioral Science Tactical Insights Platform is being developed to help researchers gain insights to guide these types of intervention design decisions, rapidly and at low cost. In this webinar, we'll introduce the Be-Sci TIP and walk through some examples of the way it might be used. We'll also invite researchers to share tactical questions they may currently face, which can be considered for some of our first TIP projects. |
